Hot wings

That's right y'all, you can have nutritionist-approved hot wings. As a bonus they are unbelievably easy to make!


~20 chicken wings (preferably pastured)
1/2 C Frank's Red Hot or other, similar hot sauce that is free of thickeners and chemicals
1/2 C butter or duck fat
1/2 t garlic powder


Preheat oven to 400. Melt the butter or duck fat and combine with the hot sauce. Place chicken wings in a large bowl and pour 3/4 C of the sauce over them, and mix to coat thoroughly. Grease a baking pan very well and place wings on it, then bake for 45 minutes. Remove and pour the remaining sauce over top.
